Sony's mess
For those of you that hadn't heard yet. The new Albums(CD's) that Sony's been putting out have spyware that installs on your PC and at this point isn't even detectable by antivirus/spy programs. Fuck them, I'm downloading a Bette Midler song today.

Here is what happens when you buy a CD:
1. You promote a corporation which, like any corporation, is money driven.
2. That corporation tries to promote and manufacture music which will reach an audience that will generate the most revenue. This audience happens to be teenage girls.
3. Teenage girls listen to the artists that have the best image among their peer groups,ie., boy bands, pop, really bad rap etc.
4. Said corporation floods the market with music of this calibur.
5. Actual talented artists can't get a leg up because actually knowing how to play an instrument is not as cool as dancing with sparklers going off.
6. People with taste try to find alternate ways to get good music.
7. Said corporation tries to shut these alternative routs down under the guise of copyright infringement.
8. Sony puts spy ware on Cd's in order to achieve this.
sparklers are pretty cool though. I'm getting rid of my guitar.
