Google Calendar Sync: Getting Started
Two-way or one-way syncing between Google Calendars and Outlook. The Catch: it only syncs with the primary calendar in Goocal. I want to say so far, but it took google this long to get this far in the sync. Yahoo sync had this a long time ago.

What kind of syncing does Thunderbird and Google have? You may look into that.
