Control-alt-delete

It's days like these that I need a reset. I need to chill out of the anxiety and remember how good I've got it. Help me, because my life is going very well, I have a real life family that amazes me more everyday, and a group of friends that just blows me the fuck away. So, thanks peeps, I'm going to try to exhale now.

Nanu Nano?

iPod nano Posted by Picasa
iPod nano
Yes, more iPod stuff from Apple. I haven't even finished touching myself over the shuffle and apple gets all nano on me. 2(500 songs) and 4(1000 songs)GB sizes of flash drivey goodness in an "impossibly small design". For the techtarded out there, this means it has no moving parts and you would have to break it to skip it. The nano part comes in the dimensions: 3.5x1.6x0.27 inches and only 1.5 ounces. All that and it has a color screen and the now famous apple click wheel. There's even a black one, for those that can't go back. Hold on, I'm getting my sock...

Nike MaxSight
Nike has now found out how to become part of your body with their new "Sport Enhancing" contact lenses. They come in two colors (orange and blue/green) for different lighting conditions and you don't even need a prescription to look like an idiot.

I love toys, but I can justify toys with functionality. These are the perfect combo of both. Miibots are collector USB 2.0 flash drives in sizes 256mb to 1 gb, and they look so cool.

Fuel-Cell, how about Fuel-Sold!!!

env bike
I really want to hate these, but they have three things I dig. Fuel cell technology, which along with computers is "the way of the future". Hybrid technology, which works with everytype of propulsion and will also be everywhere in Back to the Future 2 paradoxes withstanding, and Breasts. Ok, just two, but if they had boobies I'd be all on board. They also look like really lame dirt bikes, so I really don't know what that does for me. 4 hours of ride time, up to 50 mph, zero $3/gallon visits to the shell station for $6000 make this a very do-able (easy pervs...) short distance commuter and way less gay than the segway "homocycle" (peamouthchub, 2004). [I'm working on my APA citing format]

I don't know what it is about casters. I just want to put wheels on everything. I think it's somewhere in the realm of why every guy wants a monkey. Who am I kidding, we all know why we want a monkey. hmmmm how monkey with wheels. sweeet!!!

Update: These robots are all made of paper and he hold wrestling matches between them (along the lines of WWE), and they are gaining that type of popularity in Japan.

Muffin-top mayhem!

in Full Effect Posted by Picasa
Muffin-top mayhem!
"It's called a muffin top: that unsightly roll of flesh that spills over the waist of a pair of too-tight pants, like a muffin bursting out of the pan."

Chico Back has become an international sensation! The new fasion violation is explained in great detail in this informative article. And watch out guys, muffin tops aren't necessarily gender specific.

"And low-rise jeans have made things only worse: Where traditional jeans had a thinning silhouette, hitting at the waist, low-riders sit at the hips - or what Life & Style's Tamara Glenny calls "the bulging point."

Glenny also cautions that ill-fitting tops are as deadly as too-tight pants. "Tight stretchy tops are a problem, even though we always think of stretch as a good thing," she explains. "There's only so much stretch can do: if there's a lot of you, and not enough stretch, it actually enhances the muffin top."

So as my friend shell says, "that doesn't fit you, Size up biznatch!"

NAMM: Numark iDJ Mixer for iPod
This is so much cheeper than the 1200's that I want and I'll never have to buy another record (to add to my other 7). This might be the inexpensive way to figure out most of you should be nowhere near a crate of records in front of inocent bystanders. You're gonna be lookin' at about $400 (+2 iPods) for music mixin' bliss.

Washington Jr.

What is it with Washington people? They didn't even get an original name. Maybe they thought people would forget about the DC one by the time they made it to this coast. I would like to make fun of their governer, but I can't remember his name, and neither can you. So maybe i'll make fun of the slang-Ay. I mean, what is that all a-boat? I think the people of WA are all from California or Canada anyway, so why are they haters. And making fun of our rappers... is that because the coolest rapper out of WA was Snow? Oh yeah, he was from Canada. Why would you name anything after an indian tribe that sounds like a scrotum. Anyone else that has problems with "cali" can lick my nucsack.

My first pod cast!!!

Here's the instructions. get a tape recoder and read this entry into it. then record it onto your computer in mp3/aac, and den find it in iTunes (cause the apple-Man says their the coolest) here goes:
Bien venidos! to the first lacubrioustempo pod cast in history, everyone here listening to this is just realizing how wierd their voice sounds recorded. and just in case you were wondering you really do sound like that nasaly freak you hear in your very white ear buds. I have to work today and that sucks harder than a drunk attention craving sorrority girl at a frat house. and no, they won't respect you in the morning, or later that night for that matter. And how did i miss the memo: All frat freaks in chico, can all of you start dressing like kanye west. This outfit includes(but is not limited to) one "light red" polo shirt with the collar turned up. If you can manage to fit one size smaller it will make your chico girlfriend's innertube look alittle smaller. (end of memo)

Chico Back

Ok, here goes...Ladies of the greater Chico area, just because you can squeeze your ass into those pants, does not...I repeat, DOES NOT mean you should wear them in public. The combination of this and the too tiny, too short top compresses a once reasonable amount of fluff into an inner tube just above your now artificially shrunken ass. For the love of all that is holy...Stop at once! Think of the children...

Prefabulous

Clever little thing Posted by Hello
I was planning for later when we're really really rich and have a vacation getaway or two. I would like one near a lake and one in the snow or maybe just one next to Lake Tahoe. I wanted them small and cozy so there was less to destroy and more importantly, less to clean. I think both of these can be had (prebuilt, transported and installed on your property) for less than $100,000. Of course there are options to stack ore connect more to expand them to your liking, but I'm diggin on the small and simple tip. For my snow house I really like the Clever Mini seen above, but I don't know about that roof line. Then for the lake there is the Wee House with it's wall to wall and ceiling to floor windows on the back and front sides. Beautiful simplicity and I'll just fill'em with futons so everyone can sleep over.

Tivoli Audio
You can add this to my wish list. It's the Tivoli Henry Kloss radio with Sirius Satellite radio. I would really want it if you could use one subscription to Sirius for your car and other recievers, so that and the cheddah are probably going to keep me from getting it. The righteous alternative (which I probably will eventually get is Tivoli PAL (portable audio laboratory) which is a very clean and simple am/fm radio to whilch you can plug auxilary audio devices (i.e. cd player, iPods, etc.). It also comes in all sorts of silly colors.

This would be soooo cool in Idaho. I think I could be much more lethal with lazer light. I would be at least be more dangerous to a pizza box than I was with a revolver. This is not the lazer tag from our childhood. LCD on the gun and Heads up display in the included glasses. Radical!

What's that Song?

411-SONG
-Here's the Drill
-Hear a song you dig.
-Call (866) 411-SONG.
-Wait for the beep and hold your cell near the speaker for just 15 seconds.
-They identify the song and text you with all the song info (artist and song name).
Pretty easy, right?

Moonbeam Posted by Hello
Moonbeam Alarm Clock:
I really think someday an alarm clock beeping will be the last sound I ever hear as I grip my left arm, eyes roll back in my head. That's why I want this alarm clock. I saw it in the movie In Good Company (to which there is a whole side story involving the trouble prospect of relating to the father intead of the 26 year old, because of the new situation L's belly is growing into). but I digress. I hate the alarm clock sound and this one starts with no sound.
"This is a Westclox remake of the classic 'Moonbeam' electric alarm clock from the 1950s. A 1950 magazine advertisement for the electric alarm clock noted '…harken to the wondrous workings of the Moonbeam! …this completely different kind of electric ‘alarm’ calls you silently.' Yes, Moonbeam’s first call is silent, a blinking light that will not disturb the rest of the family. But if you ignore the light, Moonbeam adds a cheerful, audible alarm........what could be more civilized? Glass lens. Lighted dial, snooze alarm, battery back-up. All the modern conveniences! "

[YAMAHA] DIVIDE
Here's a nice little electric scooter that doesn't look like a camping flash light. It fold with the push of a button. Not much more info on it yet, but I would like to see an off road version. If I got one of these it might be enough to make up for my fossil fuel habit, and it's so pretty I might be allowed to keep it in the house.

What Color Eyes Would Your Children Have?
What will your mini-me's eyes look like? It's very straight foward and way cooler looking than the tic tac toe thing we did in high school bio. And incase you're wondering, Mackenzie's eye color will be brown... or green..well maybe even blue.

I'll be ok...

Wakin' up, and I can't get out of bed,
with all these spiders in my head,
so I'll just close my eyes and hope they go away.

Wakin' up, and I don't know what to do with myself,
something is so wrong with myself,
there's no way I'll make it through the day.

I'll be ok...I'll be ok...
just you wait and see.
I'll be ok...I'll be ok...
don't worry, don't worry 'bout me.

Takin' up, all the slack for all things that aren't done,
who said this was gonna be fun,
I can barely move my mouth to speak.

Makin' up, for the people in my life I've let down,
please forgive this sorry, sad clown,
look for problems, all I find is me.

I'll be ok...I'll be ok...
just you wait and see.
I'll be ok...I'll be ok...
don't worry, don't wait up for me.
don't worry, don't worry 'bout me.

Am I too sorry for myself,
let's just hope that they can't tell,
this might not end well...

Wakin' up, and I can't get out of bed,
with all these spiders in my head,
so I'll just close my eyes, and hope I float away...
