Toyota FJ Cruiser Special Edition

Toyota FJ Cruiser Special Edition
I finally found a Landcruiser to match my Tacoma.
"Now, we've created the Trail Teams Special Edition FJ Cruiser. This unique FJ takes charge of the trail while sporting an exclusive Iceberg White exterior, black bumpers and side mirrors, a locking rear differential, the praised A-TRAC traction control system, plus legendary Bilstein shock absorbers. And to make it all official, you'll find a TRD exhaust system, matte black TRD alloy wheels and a distinctive TRD shift knob. Happy trails."

Nice!

Project CUB/EZ90
I'm looking for a cheep fix for my Hypermotard addiction and this Honda Cub EZ90 from the 90's keeps popping up. It's just a fun trail bike with plastics to make it extra future cheesy, but this guy made it even better. If you find one for cheap, buy it for me and I'll get you back.

Most of you might think I get my medical knowledge from academics, but you'd be wrong. Warning: This episode include pee drinking and improper use of a Dremel multi-tool.

Why does does it feel like Heath Ledger is going to earn Brandon Lee cult status from this.

"Somehow the matrix summons the cells and tell them what to do,' Badylak explained. 'It helps instruct them in terms of where they need to go, how they need to differentiate - should I become a blood vessel, a nerve, a muscle cell or whatever."

1006 Navy Side Chair - Brushed - Design Within Reach

1006 Navy Side Chair - Brushed - Design Within Reach
I am going to have at least one of these chair. Aluminum smelting does use a significant amount of energy, but these chairs are relatively green (according to them).
"Made from 80% recycled aluminum (40% post-consumer, 40% post-industrial)."

Besides, you can't argue with good design.

Poolga. iPhone and iPod Touch wallpapers
Fuck the boring wallpaper on your cell phone. Poolga has gotten a bunch of artists together to make your iPhone or iPod Touch a better place. Oh, if you have some other phone or mp3 player, tough nuts.

Old Skool meets New Skool

HULGER US
I hate having to talk on my actual cell phone for too long, so I'm getting the P*Phone by Hulger.
- Plugs directly into MAC + PC
- Plug-and-play, no need for software installation
- Works with all VoIP services (Skype, iChat, GoogleTalk, Vonage, Yahoo, etc.)
- Phone can plug directly into USB*ADAPTOR ideal for use with laptop when travelling or in a WiFi zone
- Adaptors are included for compatibility with the majority of mobile/cell phones
- Reduces exposure to radiation from mobile/cell phones by around 95%
- Button answers and ends calls on most mobile/cell phones
- Handset Cord Length 1.5 metres

It doesn't hurt that the white ones are 40% off. Yes, it's a bit cheese ball, but that works for me too.

WTF!?!

Anti-ecstasy/meth antibodies
I might be missing the point, but why?

"Researchers applied for a patent on antibodies that bind to methamphetamine-like compounds such as Ecstasy to quickly remove the drug from a user's bloodstream."

So they can create antibodies for drugs that don't have to be taken , but they can't figure out how to cure diabetes, a disease where the victim must take drugs to live. Hmmmm I wonder who's side their on? (that was a rhetorical question)

Bully Target

A Boy the Bullies Love to Beat Up, Repeatedly
I have just the slightest connection to someone who was in Columbine during the attack. No one there or in the nation could wrap their heads around how something like that could happen. After reading this kid's story it becomes all to clear. I don't know what he's done, but I know that no one deserve what happens to him. I know the bullies' parents should be blamed for failing as a parent, but there should be an upheaval of school employees(read:administration) that allow anything of this nature to go on during their watch. I have personally seen it happen before at California State Maritime Academy. These schools are just covering their own asses with no regard for what actually happens under their own noses. Shame on you Fayetteville. Disgusting.

Splitting Hairs

California Lanesharing
I used to ride motorcycles and I'm planning to get back into it with a Hypermotard. If you're anywhere near a city metro area lanesharing is a must. The thing is that it is not legal or illegal, so don't be a retard and check these rules.

The generally “understood” guidelines seem to be:

* Travel no faster than 10 mph faster than the vehicles you’re lane-sharing with.
* Merge back in with the traffic when they reach 30-35 mph.
* Never exceed the speed limit.
* Lane-sharing between lanes #1 and #2 is preferred. (#1 being the “fast” or “inside” lane)
* Stay, more or less, in one lane or the other. Excessive meandering might get you cited. (CA code 21658)

Sounds reasonable, but some retard will mess it up for everyone.

Finally...kinda

Google Calendar Sync: Getting Started
Two-way or one-way syncing between Google Calendars and Outlook. The Catch: it only syncs with the primary calendar in Goocal. I want to say so far, but it took google this long to get this far in the sync. Yahoo sync had this a long time ago.

2009 Mitsubishi Lancer Ralliart
It sure done gotta a purdy mouth and it's clocking in with 235 hp, all-wheel drive and possibly the paddle shifting magic of the Evo X-MR. Hopefully they can keep the base price around 25K. If so, who knows...
And there's a sport wagon coming!

Too Many Puppies...?

David Mortari - Google Search
Somebody pissed of the interweb. This guy really effed up. I don't want to be David Mortari when he gets home from Iraq, but I'm glad he is.
(oh, the too many puppies is an ironic primus song reference)
