Why so high?

PS3 Pricing
$600 for the PS3, I don't see the big deal, but here's one person's take on it.

The Sheep Market

The Sheep Market
"The Sheep market is a collection of 10,000 sheep created by workers on Amazon's Mechanical Turk. Each worker was paid $ .02 (US) to draw a sheep facing left.."
Some of them couldn't get the facing left part right. It kinda cool though. When you select one of the ten thousand sheep, it shows it actually being drawn. It's the best sheep herd since Brokeback, right B?

Phat Facts

"...100 calories [a day] may seem harmless, but over two and a half weeks that's approximately an extra 1,700 calories. This is equivalent to about a half a pound of body fat. That's about 10 pounds of body fat, per year."

Porche, you got punked!

Ariel Atom
Since machodiesel can't post to save his right hand. I have to duty of sharing this with you.
"The company has just finished testing the Yankee Atom in Arizona at General Motors’ proving grounds with a 2.0L, 245-hp Ecotec engine. GM engineers were on hand and reportedly mighty impressed by the little car’s trip to 60 that took only 2.8 seconds."
And I haven't even mentioned the 300-hp Supercharged Civic Type-R engine option.

Run Forrest Run

Poweriser
Imagine a world where people ran around on stilts. Imagine if those people could get laid... sorry I can't do it. But these this still look pretty damn fun. When running you can make strides of 12 to 16 feet and jump vertically up to 6 feet. It might help in my quest to catch a squirrel with my bare hands.

It was this or Anna Nicoles supremem court craziness. Personaly, if anyone can take one for the team like that, she deserves it. Besides, Bruce Lee is pretty frickin' cool. To watch video, punch the dork in the nose.

Catapult: "Catapult is the world's first device to allow capture of video footage from DV or HDV video cameras directly to iPods or virtually any USB drive, and begin editing immediately. A battery powered device not much larger than a Blackberry, the Catapult eliminates the time consuming and tedious task of digitizing video footage."

Bathtub magic

Boon Flo
Now I'm that much closer to the perfect bath. Well not really but this little UFO attaches to your existing bathtub faucet to make a waterfall and has built in bubble bath delivery. For $14 I think I could swing it, for the baby of course.

And now for more google-porn. SketchUp allows for simple rendering of 3D objects (a deck for your house, a spacship for your back yard). But wait there's more. You can populate your google earth with said 3d objects. Peamouthchub is already erecting something huge for his back yard.
